NBA 2K22 Hyperdrive Badge
To test the badge we first had to figure out how to activate Hyperdrive in NBA 2k22. After figuring out how to trigger Hyperdrive we ran a frame by frame analysis on the badge to see how big the 2k22 Hyperdrive badge boost is.
Best Playmaking Badges in NBA 2k22: Hyperdrive
To trigger the 2k hyperdrive badge we need the ball handler to use turbo and break out of a dribble move while going towards the basket. In the following table you can see the number of frames it took to break out of a dribble move to taking your first dribble going forward at each badge level. This badge test setup is easier to understand if you watch the video first.

2k22 Hyperdrive Activation
Learning to consistently activate the Hyperdrive will help trigger blow by animations to get more open dunks.
Park
The NBA 2k22 Hyperdrive badge requires you to already be open to be useful since you are running forward when you trigger it. It is not used to get yourself open so it is less useful than the other similar badges.
